Sharing God’s Love Weekend In June 2011 our two churches held a special weekend of stories, conversations, meals and worship, in a relaxed atmosphere. The aim was to renew and deepen our personal commitment to and confidence in Christ. The weekend was led by a group of people from the Lay Witness Movement - ordinary lay Christians from various churches around the country who shared with us their stories and encouraged us to tell our own. We chose to give our weekend the title Sharing God’s Love, simply because that is what we are called to do as church communities. We were very grateful to our friends at two other Methodist Churches in the Circuit: Wesley and Tilehurst.
